How do credits work?
One credit is a fixed slice of what a tool actually costs to run, and you see the price before you press the button. An AI Overview check is 1 credit; a full influencer discovery run is 20. Free includes 40 credits a month, Starter 500, Pro 1,200, and Agency 3,000.
Which tools are free on every plan?
Sitemap generator, robots.txt checker, redirect checker, schema generator, llms.txt generator, and PageSpeed. They run without paid APIs, so they stay unlimited on every plan, including Free.
What does yearly billing cost per month?
Yearly billing lowers the monthly price: Starter drops from €39 to €32.50 a month (€390 a year), Pro from €69 to €57.50 (€690 a year), and Agency from €129 to €107.50 (€1,290 a year).
Which plan includes white label reports?
Agency. Reports carry your logo and your name, and you can run one workspace per brand. That is what lets a freelancer or a small agency charge for the report itself.
Why is this cheaper than Semrush or Ahrefs?
Because you pay for what you run instead of a flat seat. Semrush Pro starts at $139.95 and Ahrefs Lite at $129, and neither includes social media analytics or AI visibility. Starter is €39 with both included.
Is there an API, and can I use Pengu from Claude Code?
Yes, on the Pro and Agency plans. They include a public REST API and an MCP server with 15 tools: keyword ideas, live SERPs with the AI Overview, domain and backlink data, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook ads, reel transcripts and YouTube. One command connects Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP client, and calls spend the same credits as the app. Both are in beta and documented at penguinsights.io/docs.
Can I change plan or cancel later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings at any time. There is no contract, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
